Oh yes I can! Licensing 101

So you've found the perfect pantomime script for your theatre group? What next? We thought we would publish a guide to put the stresses of licensing a pantomime script behind you!

Once you have settled on a title, it's time to follow the simple steps below:

Step One - The Application Form

Hop on over to www.tomwhalleypantomimes.com/licensing where you will find our easy to use online form. It should only take you a few minutes to fill in all the necessary details we need to begin your application.

With your performance licence you will receive a PDF version of your chosen pantomime script as standard. Should you wish to make cuts or edits be sure to tick the 'Easy Edit' Script option under 'OPTIONAL ADDITIONS' to receive a word document version.

PRO TIP: Be sure to double check your email address has been entered correctly or we won't be able to send you your quote!

Step Two - Your Quote

Once we have received your application, your licence fee will be calculated and a quote will be sent to you via email. Every application is dealt with manually so please allow 3-5 working days. Your quote will show the total amount your licence will cost including all optional extras. All you then have to do is review the amount and reply to let us know that you accept the quote and our terms and conditions. Simple!

Step Three - Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Once you have given us the green light, your contract will be drawn up and sent over to you with all the payment details. The contract puts into writing everything we will supply to you and the total fee payable. You can e-sign or print and send a scan/photo or print sign and post if you prefer. Along with the contract you can make your payment. Once both the payment and contract have been received, you will be sent your licence and script via email.

Step Four - The Licence

Your licence agreement will detail everything that you requested in your original application – your pantomime title, the number of performances, dates etc. and it is a legal document giving you the non-exclusive right to perform our script. With the licence you will receive an electronic copy of the script which you are welcome to print as many copies as you need for rehearsals (alternatively we do offer professionally printed and bound hard copies as an optional extra)

Step Five - Showtime!

Once you have secured your licence and received your hilarious pantomime script it's time to audition, cast, read, rehearse and perform your best pantomime yet with a script from Tom Whalley Pantomimes. Break a leg!

Step Six

Start planning next year's pantomime – it's never too early!
